About

Demi Perri is a ceramic artist working primarily in porcelain, with a focus on single-edition sculpture, wall-based works, and rare jewelry releases.

Her work is rooted in the belief that objects are not inert. They absorb the time, attention, discipline, and spirit of the maker. To live with a handmade object is to live with the force that shaped it.

Raised between the forests of Muskoka and the density of Toronto, Perri’s work carries a tension between the elemental and the refined: earth and polish, instinct and control, imperfection and precision.

Each piece is formed, glazed, fired, refined, and finished by hand. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is outsourced. The work is slow because the work is costly — not only in material, but in presence.

Silverwood Ceramics now reflects this fine art direction, focusing on porcelain sculpture, wall works, and occasional artist-led releases.

These are not decorative objects.

They are charged works made of mineral, fire, and soul.

Every. Thing. Matters.
