Handmade porcelain star-shaped buttons designed for sewing, knitting, and garment projects that benefit from a playful but refined focal detail. Inspired by the iconic visual language of classic video games, these invincibility-inspired buttons balance optimism and restraint in durable, high-fired porcelain.
The star form is softly sculpted rather than sharp or novelty-like, giving a subtle, collectible feel rather than a literal reference. The glossy yellow glaze pools and breaks gently at the edges, creating depth and movement that only occurs in true kiln-fired ceramic work.
Each button is intended to function as a considered design element — noticeable without overpowering the garment — and works well in both contemporary and timeless textile projects.

• Turn the garment inside out and place it in a soft garment bag before washing.
• Hand-washing is recommended.
• For dry cleaning, ask that each button be wrapped in foil or another soft barrier to protect the glaze.

Each button is made start to finish in my studio — shaped, refined, slowly dried, fired, hand-painted with glaze, and fired again at high temperature. The full ceramic process takes over a week and allows no shortcuts. No molds, no mass production. Subtle differences in geometry, glaze movement, and tone reflect the integrity of handcrafted ceramic.
