Rainbow ceramic vase handmade by Canadian artist Demi Perri. One-of-a-kind pottery bud vase featuring a hand-carved rainbow design, glossy white glaze, and colorful hand-painted rainbow accents.
This rainbow ceramic vase is part of her personal artist archive and is being released publicly for the first time.
The rainbow motif was carved while the clay was still green, before the first bisque firing. After bisque, the vase was hand-painted with glaze in three separate layers, with each rainbow colour applied individually. It was then glaze fired to create a glossy, bright finish.
The underside was finished afterward with blue china paint, the maker’s mark, the date, and carved bubble motifs, then fired a third time.
Unlike mass-produced decor, this vase was individually carved, glazed, china painted, and kiln fired through three stages. Every visible detail, from the carved rainbow to the colour application to the underside decoration, was completed by hand.
This is a one-of-a-kind ceramic artwork from her archive. The vase shown in the video is the exact piece you will receive.
