Satin Oribe Ikebana Bowl with Ancient Copper Foot
Satin Oribe Ikebana Bowl with Ancient Copper Foot
Couldn't load pickup availability
A porcelain ikebana bowl finished in layered satin oribe glaze, with a reactive ancient copper foot ring. The surface shifts between deep blue-green and soft misted aqua, while the foot gathers bronze, rust, and metallic flashes that ground the cooler tones above.
The form is slip-cast from a wheel-thrown original, then refined and glazed by hand. The contrast between the calm satin oribe surface and the reactive copper foot gives the piece a quiet, elemental presence: cool above, mineral below.
Designed for ikebana studies, minimal floral arrangements, dried botanicals, or sculptural display. Available on its own or with a 2” metal kenzan with rubber foot ring.
